Highlights of the visit
Walking through the bohèmiene streets, the secret alleys and suggestive corners, your guide will tell you about the origins of the artists' district, the Montmartre of wines and mills and that of the cabaret. Following the trail of the cabaret, you will explore the district of Pigalle, the old forbidden district of the capital, with its theatres and its very famous historical cabaret, the Moulin Rouge; explore Place du Tertre, always full of artists and tourists, where the very white and controversial Basilica of the Sacred Heart is on the corner. You will visit its interior and enjoy the special panorama of its square; Montmartre is a district that has welcomed many painters of the Belle Epoque (from Renoir to Tolouse-Lautrec) and your guide will show you the premises and cafés visited by these famous historical figures.
