History of the Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower was designed by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Universal Exhibition, organised in honour of the centenary of the French Revolution. Few people know that, initially, Parisians did not really love it, as they considered it unpleasant to look at and too bulky. In fact, they celebrated the possibility of its dismantling, which did not happen because the Eiffel Tower was born equipped with 20-metre-high antennas and it was precisely in that historical period that radio broadcasts were gaining in importance, and later, television broadcasts. From 2000, the Dame de Fer, became even more fascinating thanks to the system of white and yellow light bulbs installed to celebrate the new millennium, which after the celebration, was not dismantled. In fact, every evening after sunset, when the time comes, the lights flash for 10 minutes, giving their viewers a truly exciting spectacle. In 2018 the system changed a bit, and now, the lights are fixed instead of flashing. Parisians and tourists alike love to admire it from the gardens, sitting on the grass, savouring the wine, and some even order a pizza.

- From June 15 to September 1: From 9:45 to 00:45, with the last climb at 23:00;
- From September 1 to June 15: From 9:45 to 23:45, with the last climb at 22:30
